now it's 2-1 Calgary..........sheesh scoring like crazy......not even 5 minutes played

both local lines..weather in boston is bad...took me hour and half to get home from work...


took calgary because st looie is struggling on defense and with a back up goaltender in net plus a goal is certainly worth a shot

took buff. because atl is struggling with dafoe...just saw he isnt playing but when i played it on my way hoem assumed he was probably would have laid off if a i knew he wasnt playing...but too late now just hope for the best

3.) washington...if Kolzig is in net..which i expect since he had sat off...but because of the win its not a done deal...so im waiting for confirmation....

4.) nashville..boston playing terrible defense right now...with the injuries on the defense i can see nash. getting a lead..and they are very tough to come back against with the way they play defense ... BRUINS are in a vital part of thier schedule right now in oreder to secure a playoff birth but they just arent playing good enough right now too warrant being a favorite on the road...against a team who is better at home than you think

5.) Chicago...colorado is a tough play against with the way they are playing right now...and chicago has been struggling but broke out a scoring assault against columbus the other night...now thats not anything to brag about but it may have gave them a little momentum going into this game...at home as a dog they are worth a play...


looking at ottawa/rangers....i have said this before....this looks like a spot to play against the rangers..as they are playing one of the best teams in the NHl on the road...but too me this looks like the classic spot where the rangers win when they are not suppose to...im hoping blackburn is in net as dunham has struggled against ottawa ...the local line on this game is rangers plus a goal...which im giving considerable thought....i also like the fact that the consenus sites have a substantial majority on ottawa again just goes to the ..they win when they arent suppose to...
