The Flyers do plan to play Marty Murray tonight, and he will be used at the point on power plays, according to the Philadelphia Daily-News.


Jan Hlavac will finally be in uniform for the Hurricanes tonight after sorting out work-visa problems, according to the Raleigh News-Observer. Hlavac was acquired from the Canucks last Friday

Miroslav Satan will miss his second straight game tonight because of a hip injury, according to the Buffalo News. Satan has a severe bone bruise and is not able to shoot or skate.


Pasi Nurminen will make his third straight start in goal for the Thrashers tonight and he appears to have overtaken Milan Hnilicka as the starter, accoridng to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The Washington Post reports that Olaf Kolzig is scheduled to come of the injured list tonight. Klozig said that he feels no pain in his left wrist, though he admits that the area may not fully heal unless he has surgery in the offseason
