im ice cold in bases and pucks right now...so caveat emptor...but let me expllain why i like this total...

in the last eight matchups between these teams 4.5 ...would have hit in all eight games....that is incredible...

Roy was in net for 5 of these matchups ..these were the scores..

a 2-2 score in the playoffs is an automatic win here...the power plays of each team are better than the penalty kills of each team...so if special teams play a significant role tonight i expect this total hits easily...

ofcourse we always have the chance that each teams goalies play shut out hockey..or defensive hockey becomes almost impossible to skate through..especially with minny in the playoffs...but im hoping colorado gets out to an eraly lead and forces minny top play catch up...which may take them a little out of thier system...and force them to play a little offense and take some chances..
