Niagara -13 over Marist ****** strong play
Taking a team like the Purple that have lost 3 in a row in the MAAC,lost 4 of 5,shoot 40% FG,and shoot 3's at 31%....and have almost their entire team back from lyr starting 4 seniors.They have the No 1 scorer in the MAAC in Lewis and the No 1 rebounder in Benn.Last yr Foxes spanked NU in Poughkeepsie 86-68.NU knocked them out of the MAAC tourney 79-50.In the 86-68 spanking Foxes lost almost everyone.They have about 9 pts left from players on that team.NU has about 70 of those pts back.Foxes top player is their only big man, Bauer.But he might not play tonite due to an elbow in the Loy game the other nite.Marist plays 4 freshman,is 1-16 and ranks last in every possible stat in the MAAC.In todays local paper martin the coach is asking people to come out.There will be a very little crowd.In the rider game last week they put the crowd at 1,400.It wasn't even 400.
Mihalich who is a pretty good coach has very little control of this run and gun team.I forget the stat I gave a few weeks ago.They were something like 5-55 from the 3.Trends,ats,etc favor the foxes to cover.I played Rider big a few weeks ago when the played Marist.Think the same thing happens tonite.Marist can't rebound or shoot.NU in transition should be able to run them out.Foxes don't have the experience to stay with the Purple so will play that 2-3 zone.
Purple should win by about the same score they beat them in march[79-50}

Saints can blow anyone out on any given nite.
Rider +8 over Iona *
hate going against Iona and still waiting for rider to wake up.
Texas +1.5 over Kansas St *
Yesterday went 0-4....did win Nova because the line dropped to -4.5 and pushed with Peter.Not to good....Illi St killed me...
