Niang is out for Iowa State... He is out for the rest of the tournament

This is a very big loss. Some of you follow this school closer and speak to the specifics but I know Niang does a lot for this team. When they need a bucket on the block they play through him. He can drag the big out to the perimeter and break him down or shoot over him. He brings a very dynamic game to the court and it is now gone.

I like UNC +4 now as I think McAdoo will be able to dominate the middle and I also think this game is going to be played even faster now.


I will look for the Iowa folk to chime in here...

Really big blow to them. They may still beat a bad UNC team, but it's hard seeing them getting past the Sweet Sixteen without him.

Absolutely killer to Iowa State and Niang. He was my favorite player for them and IMO what kept their gears turning. I'm really gonna need some luck here for this not to F my bracket. Let's go UCONN tonight!
