i didn't have a wager in this game, and i still think it was a horrible call....if thats a moving screen, then every screen in college bal should be a moving screen
michigan state scored 23 points in the 2nd half. refs dont take jump shots and free throws for them
mjalam and mcity get involved go to the classes next year and work your way up the ladder. IF you are young enough you can change how bad the officiating is as you see and improve it.

Look I am not blaming the refs on this one, a couple bad calls didn't blow the game. they did that all on their own, blame the coaching staff . The played a lot of big teams in preseason and played the same crappy way always kept it close but always found a way to lose by a couple of pts.
Also don't count the big ten out, the 2 firepower teams are playing tomorrow.
Illinois in the right mode is one hell of a 3 pt shooting team.

I had NO $$ on the outcome of this game( State won my FH BET already) But losing DAVIS on a LAME call is atrocious. I do not know what you were seeing but that call at that juncture of the game should NEVER be made unless it has been called all game!
They made the same call a bit later on Nev,it to was lame, to little to late for a make up call! Look at the position of the ref when he made the call, it is the same crap every year, the Big ten plays physical ball and if your shipped to the west or east coast you can expect those crap calls::

I saw nothing. I was not even watching the game maybe it was a bad call, but all foul calls are based on one thing and one thing alone. Do you know what that is ?
Ref's never focus on each other's foul calls we discuss things like mechanics rulings and procedures for admistering calls also position on the court, who has what responsibility etc.
Foul calls are based on JUDGEMENT, what happened in one persons judgement may be different from anothers judgement.

I'm sure you do the best you can as a ref.....but maybe if you were a player you would look at it from a different perspective as well....players want to decide the game, especially at crunch time. IF you are young enough, maybe you can become a player and experience what a crock of chit it is when a zebra calls a marginal block away from the ball to foul you out of a big game at crunch time.
