Looking forward to today's races cause some of them are just loaded with very good, genuine Philadelphia Dirt Bombs today. I'm quite familiar with plenty of horses running today and that should help. BUT, it doesn't mean anybody should clean out their bank account for them. I remember at least two days in the past that I went completely bananas over the card and left with absolutely empty pockets.

I've written this before and I do want to share this again... PAY LITTLE OR NO ATTENTION TO THE MORNING LINES for this twack. The oddsmaker doesn't have a clue and today should verify that. For me - I pay NO attention to it.

Here's an example from yesterday (and there are PLENTY of better ones too); it was the 7th where I wrote, "I like the nos. 1 and 3" and I didn't even play that exacta which was a winnah. Well, it was EZ to pick that no. 1 esp. with that huge 15 to 1 M.L. (btw, that WASN'T the reason I picked that horse cause I know about that oddsmaker). That one closed to get the Place spot and went off at 6 to 1 and was even less than those odds during the betting.

Tellyas, I'm really luvin a few of today's races and that means... BE CAREFUL.

4th race: Pretty obvious which two I really like from the picks.
zacktas, 2,8 top/bot with 3,6,7 ... and
2<-->8 Ah, that means zackta boxed.... and
both 2 and 8 to win provided their odds hold up. I already put small win bets on each, but I will add more to the one that L@@KS better between those two in the prerace provided I get to see that today. VERY IMPOTANT ---> don't let the no. 7 win today without yas... pps look like hell, but I will have something bigger than 2 stinkin bucks on that one, prob. W/Pl. Don't need to put much on the no. 7 cause the odds should be excellent. IF there's too many picks here foryas, leave one out (your risk) and do put a little something on the no. 7 and keep ya fingers crossed. Heck, the horse is appropriately named too -- Risque Matters .

6th race: Not sure how I'm gonna play this one.. here's where I'm at now -

Nos. 2 , 8, and 10 are VALUE plays. BTW, the oddsmaker wannabe has the M.L. at 15 to 1 for the no. 2, (yeah, right :jerkit:) wishful thinking. Even less than half that would be fine by me.
Sorry, but there's something more for this wace -> IF any of the plicks scwatch or the odds are just too low on one of them...think about playing the no. 7, High on Candy. This one will have good odds. This one will be in a couple or more of my zacktas; just haven't put the nos. together yet.

8th race: I'll be on the ole 1,4 top/bot 3,8. Nos. 3 and 9 (yeah, nine) are worthy of side action. Fosho, I'll be on the no. 3 with enough greenbacks to make this wace quite profiable if he wins. M.L. on this one is listed at 6 to 1 which might be about right.

Looking forward to today's action, bastages better not cancel or I just may boycott this joint (twack, not forum :) ) Ya know, come to think about it, that does go for the forum as well cause I won't play any other wace twack.

Verly interlesting

I see somebody named "Hammer" peeking through the peephole.

Hmm... did you change your name, HAMster? Or maybe he's related to Hamster?

Well, if so - Please say hello to HAMSTER for me if ya see him around. Hope he finds something good at Philly today cause I think there's gonna be some nice prices today.

My take on the 6th & 8th @ PARX today:

Race #6

I like #8-Giant's Tomb a reliable runner who leads this field in career earnings per start. Also like your #10-Noah's Dream & his morning line odds(10-1) although I know he will go off much lower than that @ post time. I am "HIGH" on the #7-High On Candy @ 8-1 too. :D Might want too look @ the #3-Don's Honour @ 12-1. He was an impressive winner last time out. Will tail you w/the #2 too fill out my exotics. Wagering:

$10.00 WPS 8
$5.00 Exacta 8/2,3,7,10
$2.00 Trifecta 8/10/2,3,7

Race #8

With the 3 scratches in this event, #1-Arlo should win this going away!!! :yup Gonna bet a BIG$$$ Trifecta here:

$20.00 Trifecta 1/3/8,9

Best of Luck Jimbo & I hope too see you @ the Window!!! :0008

Race #6(Ran 8-2-10)

$2.00 Win 8 Paid $6.00($33.00)
$2.00 Place 8 Paid $3.80($19.00)
$2.00 Show 8 Paid $2.60($13.00)
$2.00 Exacta 8-2 Paid $36.40($91.00)

Was REALLY close too a BIG$$$ pay-out if the #10 could have held off the #2!!! A $2.00 Trifecta would have paid in the $500.00 range!!! Exacta would have paid better as well. Still, wagered $56.00 & won $156.00 so according too my Auburn math I'm up $100.00. Man....the #10 running second would have made my day!!!!

Rap it up time

Rap it up time

Nice to see you agreed with most of the plicks, DTwo. Way to go :00x15

Day went like this....

4th Race

AGAIN, again, again... found the BIG Balloons race but not the big $$$ winnah. :(
Results like this one doesn't bother me at all cause there was no way I woulda came up with that no. 1 hoss. BUT, if that "5" was a "6"... that's a different story. Been there and seen that before. My no. 7 longshot used this race as a very good 5 furlong workout... fooled me today for sure. Minimal damage in this race cause I got back most of the bets with the no. 8 scwatching.

It's quite a show when this track shoots off them fireworks, ain't it?

1 Banks Robertson Angel Castillo, Jr. 94.00 34.00 12.80
3 Habby's Pride Stewart Elliott 4.60 3.60
5 Moreforyourmoney Jacqueline A. Davis 10.60
Also ran: 2 - Again Again Again , 6 - Amber Coast , 4 - Trumpeter Swan , 10 - Bugsy Losty , 9 - Frozen Four , 7 - Risque Matters
Scratched horses: Belle's Big Boy (Also-Eligible) , A. P.'s Buddy (Also-Eligible) , Jaguar King (Stewards)

$2 Exacta 1-3 468.40
$2 Trifecta 1-3-5 7,554.20

6th Race
Nailed that 8-2 zacta ($36.40) and even for more than 2 stinkin dollars too (actually, ONE dollar more, $3 stinkin dollars, really :00x8). You need to be VERY calculating with your betting to beat this game. LOL.

Actually, since I liked those two so much in this race.... I shoulda "calculated" that a trifecta (paid $386) woulda been more appropriate. That no. 10 was one of the 4 I used with the 8. SOMB!

8th Race
Let's see.. with the no. 4 getting scratched, that left me with 1<->3,8 zacks (AND no. 3 win bet on the side). Caught the 1-8 ($15, which was a very nice payout for those two favs.) but the bestest part was that I got to see the prerace and bet the no. 1 to win, only, like a REAL betting man
body-builder-27.jpg

btw, that ain't really me.

Overall, came out with better than the stinkin peanuts today, more like a SUPER BOWL priced light lunch.
