I second that, congratulations to all Canadian hockey fans I realize this is a special day.

I am by no means a hockey guy, actually haven't followed the game closely since the days of the big bad Bruins. But I definitely remember the joy & pride I felt in 1980. Congratulations again.

Again I am a hockey novice at best, but frankly team Canada seemed much much more talented. Was it there day today? Or am I wrong thinking team Canada would win this game 8 times out of 10?

If you broke the teams down,at each position,on a neutral site,Team Canada would Win 8 out of 10 games played. We could have scored 10 today, the score was flattering. But, I do give the Team USA alot of credit. As such big underdogs ,they played a solid set of games, our guys were finally peaking at the right time. The 'quality scoring chances' were 3 to1.Don't forget, we hit 3 posts and 1 crossbar too.
GOLD for the good guys...:) :) :)

Congrats to Canada. I am proud of Team USA for getting past what I felt was a more talented Russian squad but Canada was just too much. Personally I hope they decide to let NHL players go in 2006. These last two weeks have featured just a ton of great hockey and for me personally a nice intermission on the NHL betting season.
