5-yard punt by akron with 2:00 to set up the buffalo backdoor. then interference in the endzone. and there's your game. most ridiculous backdoor i've seen all season and that's saying something. to punt the ball only 5 yards takes talent. thats a world class laydown by the zips. this conference is just horrid. it seems like forever ago there was good football by the mac powers.

line went from -17.5 to -15.5 at my book right b4 kick, that is shady. no wonder Mirage wont take bets on the MAC conference.

I'm all done with this BS LEAGUE. its fat &nontalented high school kids. its impossible to handicap this shit league. God bless gman if he can do it. didn't play N Illinois couple days ago for game, because something always happens with this league. After they got their ass kicked, took them second half -6, they have first and goal on 1 at end of game, can't score.
Tonight took Akron, they dominate first half, obviously become disinterested second half, and with 2 minutes to go punt the ball 6 yards, that's fuking impossible, my 2 year old nephew can do better than that, no kidding. Than some idiot up 21 commits pass interference in end zone. And unlike Toledo, Akron immediately gives td.
this league is a joke, how many dropped passes in the Toledo game ? 20? 30? Boston College a ordinary college team, plays Toledo or Akron in bowl game, they drill them by 30 or more. This league Sucks and shouldn't be on television at all

everything you said is completely true. the conference is getting exposure -- perhaps even OVERexposure now because of things that were done 3 and 4 years ago.
there used to be good, solid football played in this conference not too long ago. those marshall teams with leftwich and darius watts. the bowling green teams that urban meyer put into the top 25. miami with roethlistberger and an absolutely ridiculous offense. bigtime offensive talent that was going to the pros. but the skill position players have slipped big time. these mac teams are just outclassed by the power conferences again. for awhile they closed the gap but its back to mediocre football.
as far as capping it -- rest assured youre not the only one that is pulling your hair out trying to cap this shit. special teams in this conference are so embarrasingly bad.
for those that watched kent/ohio (only because it was on the espn gameplan so it gave some exposure to what is supposed to be the upper tier of the mac and was a battle for 1st place) you will recall how embarrassing kent's kicking game was. bowling green repeatedly has 11 and 18-yard punts. akron's kicker missed a FG with the ball inside the 5 tonight. the list goes on.
i normally feel comfortable pushing good money on 7-10 mac games per year. games that are beyond just regular plays. but i simply cant do it this year. the conference is dogshit. it doesnt matter how good of a 'feel' ive got for it, that doesnt mean a damn thing.
when you see games like tonight, you just gotta shake your head. when you have the wrong side of a game, ive always believed you simply bite your tongue and give credit to the opposition. but there's also something to be said for just calling it like it is. this was a game akron was 30 points better than buffalo in. and you cant often say that in the mac anymore. just a ridiculous finish.
