nicholls st +26-: gotta take a stab at this big dog. nicholls state only 4-4, but they're the ranked 80th despite only playing one home game so far this season. one of their wins was over boston college in boston. colonels' new coach Richie riley was an asst at Clemson, so he's pretty familiar with Hamilton's team; tigers knocked them off in tallahassee last year. big men johnathan Isaac (25 minutes, 15 ppg, 7 rpg) and phil cofer (15 minutes, 4ppg, 2rpg) have been out the last two games, and both are listed at likely to miss. and the 'noles have florida coming to Tallahassee sunday, so it's hard to imagine Hamilton playing them tonight in an easy win and risk losing them for the gator game. after all, Hamilton let them run earlier this week in a big win over so miss where they ran up 98 pts. tonight with all those minutes on the bench and fla on the horizon, I think fsu settles into a deliberate mode and does enough to handle the colonels for about a 20 pt win. under looks kind of inviting also.

just going over the box in this game - its pretty amazing. 10 of 11 available players ( at least I was right about Isaac and cofer not playing) played double digit minutes, the 11th played 7 minutes. 62% fg, 53% 3pt, 92% ft, 40 rb, 32 assists. numbers look like they played a team from a wheelchair league, but this was a team ranked in the top 100. that's twice this week they have ran a team out of the gym. it will be interesting to see if they bring this find of game to the gators.
