On the course!
I am doing my best to navigate this keypad at the hotel. I managed to get intobestbettor and fumble around in there. I was soooooo careful as to not make any blunders while trying to oporate this mouseless keyboard.

I made a play on the Dallas game, takin the over. When I clicked on the screen, I somehow made the toggle buttong "tab" over the the "under" selection. I don't know how, but now I am stuck with the under!

I have only used 2 games in this contest that I actually handicapped. (1-1), so it really doesn't matter bu if tis hits, and I can get the 30th game home later, you will be able to rest assured that "S-Love" like luck beat out your handicapping.

(god bless the Blackhawks!

.....and go "under" 210, Dallas!

Well, you certainly got a close one with the Dallas under. Looking like a photo finish in the Isles game. Blackhawks was such a key win for you that I was surprised that you went away from the dogs and took a fave and a total. I am in Vegas and I will be at Sunset in about a half an hour,so hopefully see you then.

Winning S-Love style, having Nick serve you cocktails, and proving the coin flip theory all in 30 games. Nice job, yyz!!

that's right Bobby- hope you're not too embarassed to play in next year's NCAA contest as I doubt my luck can run 2 years straight and knock your ass out of the money again.

hopefully YYZ won enough money in the Sunset AARP Canasta Challege to pay off his anger management counseling sessions and enter next year as well

You've said before that luck has nothing to do with handicapping.

First you say that you're going for last place, then you talk about the meteoric rise to the middle (when you were fading yourself) and now you say that you were unlucky.

Here's a thought, mush, have one story and stick with it.

Maybe you can start saving now so that you can be in both contests next year. It's was a shame that my S-Love account could only be in effect one day a week.

maybe you ought to pay attention to your own handicapping- I seem to remember you running your mouth early on and when all the dust settled...I forget where did you place again?

Weren't you the early leader in the NFL contest, too, and then barely held on to place? must've been tough watching all that potential money vanish away as you limped towards the finish.

you can twist/contort my words all you want, but the figures don't lie, chump, so start working on next year's NCAA so you can try for your 4th straight losing season.

12-27-1 is better than 1-3

You know you're record if you didn't start fading yourself. You know all to well about living through that. Nice job w/ the $200, Susie. I'm sure it well into the 6-7 figure range with how well that you do with the plays that you don't post.

actually yes, I flew out to Scottsdale for a long weekend to be with them for the SB and the golf tournament- what a wild scene that is- 140,000 people all boozed up solid to watch golf- too bad it was chilly yesterday though as most of the chicks had sweaters on :(

yyz did a good job in winning this contest, but my point about skill being important in handicapping was proven.

Betting just under $500 per play, yyz won $933, or about 2 units. Betting just under $200 per play, I won $825, or about 4 units. The bottom line in those numbers is that a $500 per day bettor easily could have followed every single play of mine without making a large risk and taken home a good profit this month.

I also want to make clear the yyz won the contest fair and square, and that I am not complaining about the fact that he won despite winning about half the units I did based on average wager size. He played the smarter contest and we both knew the rules of the game coming in. I just have to have faith in my strategy and wait for things to work out better in my Beat the Pro contest.

Classy, Nick. Maybe you should have just stopped with the congratulations.

Now, logoff and go get him a beer
