Im not sure if this is right, but you actually play the games with the controller/joystick...? Is this true? This could solve my depression of not being able to play hockey yet this season......

I don't know what you are talking about. I haven't played a video game system in probably over 6 months. I could care less about ps3 other than the fact that it is an easy $750-$1000. The only reason I made this post about the WII is because I should be playing hockey @ school but I blew out my hamstring a week before it started. Im turning into a total nutjob without hockey and if I could play simulated hockey on it, it would be pretty cool.

I saw a Wii being played in a store and in all honesty if you are over 8 years old it probably gets lame quick.
Looks to me like they spent zillions of hours and dollars in the technology to make it work like it does, but rushed like muthers to get the games made and they are all weak.

penguin - ya, I dont understand these companys rushing to get stuff done. seems like ps3 cant play some old games and now this nintendos games blow... ps3 cannot fill enough orders, ect... I understand they need to be out before christmas but the planning seems crappy.
