playing these small. wouldnt go so far as to say theyre action plays, but not playing them as big as the plays on the real dancefloor.
wichita state (+1) over florida state
* simply put, fsu should not be laying road points over anyone this year. the last time they even WON a legitimate game on the road was in the middle of december. yes, the acc is a tough conference to snag a road win but fsu failed at clemson, failed at virginia, and failed at (when they were struggling) maryland. wichita didnt meet expectations this season. they expected to be an ncaa tourney-caliber team. didnt happen. but with acc team coming to town, i doubt theyre lacking motivation.
virginia/george washington over 155
* no real capping here. just been cashing a lot of virginia NIT over tickets the last few years. theyre a regular in the ncaa junior tournament. and when they get there, they just run and run and play zero defense. and, of course, george washington has zero problem playing a game in the 80s. virginia has been a money over team for me
(strong) kent state 2nd half (-6) over west virginia
* kent doesnt lose often on this floor. a little surprised at the lame first half, as kent seniors were saying that even though the season ended in disappointment (losing in mac title game), this NIT home game would give them a chance to atone for their loss on senior night to miami and allow for them to win their last game on that floor. kent should come back, win the game, and cover the 2h line.
