Jefferson is supposed to be out for the year....just read this on another board...do not know how reliable this is, but supposedly theres supposed to be news conference at 3pm on WFAN, a nyc radio station...I'm listening to it right now to try and confirm...will let you guys know if I confirm...think bout pounding pistons if jefferson out...kidd might also be out with flu...gametime decision....

ok so far I've only heard on WFAN that theres supposed to be a press conference by Thorn at 3pm about jefferson, did not specify what about...can anyone else confirm?

ok all they said was that there will be more news at 3pm...fears that jefferson may be out for year...so I'm thinking he not playing tonight...bad news is I'm stepping outta my house now...won't be able to update. GL all.

ok last update...Mike and the Mad Dog just said Jefferson will be out for the year, will undergo season ending surgery...

the reason the line hasn't moved that much is because when a player gets injured the team he plays for ususally always coveres the spread for example indiana the first game without artest, JO, and jackson, houston the game without yao, and toronto the first game when carter was injured that's why i would advise you to stay away from the game.

I still think the Pistons will cover in a big way. They are too big for the Nets to handle. Ben, Rasheed and Mcdyess will outboard the smaller Nets team who is also without Scalabrine.

oh yea...just got home, looks like Pistons in control. Hope you guys pounded it, I took the ML big...just curious what did the line close at?

Yeah I pounded it pretty hard I had it at -5.5 at 1.801 but I increased it to -6 for 2.010 for the game. I put $1500 so you can say I'm a happy man today :clap: :clap:
