equal an under between these two teams.

MJ only had 11 points on bad knees in Monday's game vs. Houston and will not play tonight.

Without MJ the Wiz do seem a bit lost.....failing to score in the final 3 minutes of the Rockets game.

Also, we have Clifford Robinson suspended tonight because of a DWI. He's the team's 2nd leading scorer with an average of 14 pts/gm on a team that averages about 93'.

MJ is the Wiz's leading scorer averaging 24' on a team averaging right at 92.

I don't believe the linesmen were setting the Wiz/Det total this low just to "trap" a bunch of people......the fact is.....without MJ and Robinson tonight......we'll have 38' points of normal team offense that won't see the floor in this one.

Can the Nesby replace MJ's points???

Can Collins get a stout Wiz defensive effort against Stackhouse.....does Det have anybody else to step into Robinson's shoes offensively???

Think'n tough defensive efforts over-shadow the offense of both teams tonight.

Hope'n Ben Wallace goes with the "fro" hair-do tonight and blocks a lot of Wiz shots.

Play'n Wiz/Pistons u 179'

Just don't think you can remove that much offensive firepower and expect Stackhouse and Rip to get it over tonight. GL

-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_

In a bit of an "unlucky"..."ball bounce'n wrong" kinda funk the past couple a days::::

1-3...LN

Mavs -4' L

Min/Dal u 214 L <--still don't believe it!

Kings -5' 2H W

Bost/LAL u 99 2H L <--LMAO....Laker loss as Kobe tries to emulate MJ & runs freak'n outa time...hehe...that was some S-A-T-I-S-F-A-C-T-I-O-N :D

116-69-2...YTD ez

Think I'll add one more this morning.........

Think I'll add one more this morning.........

cause I see the line rise'n.

Port/Sea over 190'

Here's why:

-Wanted to see if Bonzi is a go.....see no information that says Wells is a no go. He turned an ankle and didn't play 2H on Monday night against the Clips.

-In the last 9 Port games 6 have hit 100 and beyond.

-In the last 7 Sea games 5 have hit 99 and beyond.

-Sea is averaging 98 pts/gm and Port 96 pts/gm on the season.

-COmbined both teams are giving up right at 190.....just about where the line sets.

-I like the fact the game's in Sea......a game between Pacific Divison rivals.....in 3rd and 4th place seprated by 1/2 a game. That should add to the intensity and help the games pace move right on along.

Play'n Port/Sea o 190' ez

like the Portland over

like the Portland over

Think this one should go over pretty easily. I especially like the 1st half over.

The Pistons total scares me a little. Maybe I'm making more out of it than I should, but I don't like to let the absence of impact players sway me to one side or the other. I noticed that teams sometimes do the complete opposite of what you expect them to when they lose a star player. Don't want to burst your bubble, partner. Think it is solid, but if it starts to drop I think I'm going to take a chance on the over.

Good luck! :D

Good point Dragon.............

Good point Dragon.............

I see it's already drop'n.......for better or worse!

If it gets down much lower, I might take your advice and shoot for a middle.

Without MJ's quick fade-away.....it may take the Wiz a bit longer to score on their trips as they try work'n it around......especially if Det wears Rip like a tattoo on one of their "gangsta' mutt's" arms!!!!

That Nolan cracks me up. GL ez

(Dosen't that LAL 2H under loss....feel about as good as a loss can feel???? Hehe.....man I'm gald the refs made the correct call on that one!) :)

I love the UNDER in the Portland/Seattle game.

Portland 5 of last 10 road games have been under 179
Seattle 6 of last 10 home games have been under 182

I was expecting a number closer to 183-184.

I was looking for the Pistons total to drop at my book. It jumped 3 points to 181. Damn...now I might have to take a look at that under.

It's burnt into my mind.

I may buy that one back before tip.....need to ponder it a wee bit more.

Thanks for another "wake-up call".....AGAIN.....dnugs! ;) ez

dnugs & Valuist...........

dnugs & Valuist...........

Shoulda listen to you guys on both pixs I played.

You tried to talk some sense into me dnugs....and I just couldn't make the appropriate adjustments in my thinking.

I knew deep down that the Wiz/Det line movement had disaster written all over it......and in hind sight.....shoulda bought the play back.

Hey.....thanks for try'n to talk some sense into me dnugs.

-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_

Folks......two bad beats this week with plays in Monday's Hou/Wash and Tuesday's Minn/Dal totals......then......two stupid plays on my part last night:

Wash/Det u 179' L

&

Port/Sea o 190' L

gives me a 116-71-2 (62%) record and need'n a break.

I have become frustrated with my capp'n and some of the issues that folks discussed in Ander's thread yesterday.

Hope'n some time away can cure whatever it is that's currently affected my thought process and attitude.

Like VB said the other day....."if I can't help...I won't hurt". C Ya ez

Since the all-star break, it's been a little tougher to cap the games. Some freaky stuff is going on and with some of the other intangibles, it makes it much harder on us. We all have to change our thinking somewhat and take into account those "hidden" factors in each game. Hopefully, you won't stay away too long. Your contributions are needed here. 62% is phenomenal man. You are doing something right! Don't let a couple of games get you down. :nono:
