The bashing really is tremendously sophomoric. It's gotten to the point of "trolling", and you defenders of soccer are feeding right in to it.

After reading Dr's and yyz, I have to say I did start this, but it turned into something way different than I intended mainly because of moe777.

I initially started this thread after watching some of the USA/italy game and was sooooooooooo
pissssssed about the officiating and play by the diving etc.

I wrongly used the word pussy to describe my anger about the game, I was just trying to express my disgust with it all.

Let me say here that I by no means think soccer is a pussy sport in that sense, I still find no enjoyment watching the game unless like the NBA it is in the finals etc.

But it is hard to believe this moe character on the stretcher thing, I have never heard of this ever and by all other posts he is the only one that seems to know this is a "RULE". Give me a break.

Any who, just wanted to agree with Dr Strange & yyz, and I am sorry for starting this and letting it get out of hand just because of my disgust of what was happening in the game. :shrug:

American football is for pussy, why must they wear helmet? shoulder, leg or whatever guard they have???
they should let those 300lb men hit each other at full speed and whoever can stand the pain stand up and play again.

Look at rugby, aussie rule footy, only shin and crotch guard.

american cant play these game because it a real contact sport, 1st take off all those helmet and shoulder guard and start to tackle on the fly and see whether they still can stand up and hi five each other.

Americans with helmets probably have kept you from learning German, Russian or Japanese.

I hear you, that ref was out of control yesterday, some questionable calls on both ends
