Long story as short as possible:

I see that this Friday Circuit City is pre-selling XBOX 360 bundle packages on-line, so I send "support" an e-mail asking them the details as far as if I pay for it on-line Friday will I be GUARANTEED to get it onTuesday when they launch without standing in line or are the just gonna ship it to me, and if so will it be a shipment from the first delivery or will it be from the second shipment or do they even have a guess. At the end of the e-mail I stated in all caps for them to be VERY SPECIFIC in thier reply.

Here's the reply I got:

I understand that you wish to pre-order the Xbox 360 and would like to
know when would the option to pre-order this product be available.

No butt cheese, thats not what I asked

Unfortunately, I am unable to answer your query that, will you be able
to place an online order and pick up at the store.

Then what exactly is you job, butt cheese?

The releasing date
of XBox 360 is 11/22/05. In this case you may visit your nearest
Circuit City store for assistance.

It's just Microsoft breaking one off in everyones ass again. Not like the $400 price tag wasn't enough of a butt rape, they make them almost impossible to get so you have the entertaining option of waiting hours outside only to get beaten up or shot for it leaving the store.

C'mon Penguinfan........Microsoft is at fault? This isn't food. water or gasoline we're talking about here. It's a friggin electronic device. If one doesn't like the $400 price tag, then don't buy it. I don't know why anyone would pay more than $15 for a time wasting, mind dumbing, carpel tunnel creating, anti-social, weight gaining piece of crap anyway. But then again, I'm a degenerate gambler, so knock yourselves out.

Somehow I doubt you got a response from a "real" person, more likely an already outsourced position in India with a list of form letter responses ready to push a button to answer your question. In the off chance you decide to push further, then they'll let you talk to a real person who will speak broken English and you won't understand them anyway.

I'm not pushing it any farthe, I don't care that much. Yes I want a 360 on Tuesday, but I will wake up just fine on Wednesday if I don't get one, really.
