The last photo is more self promoting, IMO, than showing how much you cared for a loved one.
"We" don't need to know how much you love your family members. Love for family should be implied.
I'm guessing many, MANY people have spent time like that with their loved one before they were laid to rest, but most probably just sacked out in a pew or made the best of what the funeral home had available. They didn't turn it into a dorm room, or a photo-op for the web.

The 2nd photo shows a devoted and heartbroken wife spending a few last hours with her husband, who happens to be a national hero who gave up his life for this country.

Had to think about it a second myself weise--then figured she was probably viewing family photos on computer. took me a minute as I don't relate computers to photo albums like most.
