Syndergaard took a risk and paid the price. The Mets lost a game because of it and blew out their bullpen a night before facing Clayton Kershaw. That should be punishment enough. And if Major League Baseball decides to issue a suspension to Syndergaard, it will be as great of a miscarriage of justice as it was when Utley got off the hook after setting this whole chain of events in motion.
