sorry if I left off anyone else that would like to chime in....

why are all of you on the Oil- I realize they have not played in 4 days and Wild are B2B and Oil has some revenge but......

This is Minn's last game before the break.

Oil in a possible look ahead with Nucks Thursday night.

Two big guns Comrie and Smyth are out tonight.

Reason why I am asking.......

I was going to play the Oil for a nickle and something is telling me No?

Thanks, Chenks:cool:

I agree with you Chenker....I'm an Oiler fan and for the life of me I will not be pulling the trigger tonight. Don't understand why everyone is on my Oilers, must be basically cause of the long road trip Minny has been on and playing b2b.

Gonna lay off this one and root for my boys, but would not be surprised to see them stink it up tonight.

Hey Chenks, just saw your post......

You are right on mark with the reasons why I'm backing the OilCan. Double revenge for Edm within about 5 weeks apart from the 1st game. Minny played hard last nite, and really should have lost, but instead settled for a tie, after playing OT. Then has to travel to Edm, albeit not too far, still is travelling none the less. Last game of a long 5 game western North American roadie going from Ana/LA, to SJ, to Van, to Edm, with the break coming up, my thinking is that they've already done what they set out to do, getting 5points out of possible 10, with tonite's game to go. They probably just wanna go home now. If they fall behind early, I don't think they'd have enough gas to catch up, especially playing B2B. Minny is 4-14-2 in their L20 Game2 of B2B, not a pretty number. They're 1-1-2 this yr, the only win is at home vs the Canes, but none of the 4 were the last game of a 5 game roadie. As far as a look ahead, I think Edm would try even harder to get the 2 points at home, especially with them 2 pts behind Minny, knowing it will be extremely difficult to win in Vancouver.

But then again, I could be just full of cow-puckey. Hopefully not:D:shrug:

OIL: 7-3 revenging a home loss. 5-1 ATS vs. MIN @ home(11-2 ATS vs. MIN overall)
MIN: This will be MIN 5th road game in L9 days. Although MIN plays well in BtoB situations.

What better way to go into VAN then beating the team that just took VAN to OT.

Jerret Stoll(15g-20a in Hamilton) will play his first NHL game tonight for the OIL.

Local radio said...

- Smyth might be back for the VAN game, but probably will be back after the All-Star break.
- Laraque should be back about a week and a half after the break.
- Comrie around a week and a half after Laraque.
