A couple of points:
(1) Congratulations to IE who has really made a nice turnaround. No one on this board works harder than IE in my view (other than Jack perhaps) and it's good to see solid statistical-based handicapping result in profit. IE was off to a disappointing start his season (it happens to us all -- at times) and roared back in June with a strong run. It goes to show that there is a lot of be gained by WORKING TOGETHER and listening to fellow handicappers, rather than against each other.
(2) Side note to Jack: I sent MONDAY's report to the AOL account. I am on a different account today, so if you can post the report from the JW account that would be great.
(3) When you need a win, go back to what has proven successful: For me that has been totals. Today I have three plays, all UNDERS:
MINN/CHISOX UNDER
KC/CLEVE UNDER
HOU/MILW UNDER
(4) Finally -- here's a rant: If anyone thinks picking baseball games is easy or without risk, look what happened in Toronto yesterday when Arroyo of the Red Sox pitched a no-hitter through seven innings! Arroyo has been one of the least consistent closers in the Sox bullpen (he was hammered for a grand slam in his last appearance). Then, he goes out and pitches a masterpiece. I'm still shaking my head in disbelief.
