I ended up taking a last-minute notice trip to Vegas with some friends yesterday, and we're staying at the Las Vegas Hilton. I just wanted to say that your review of the Hilton sportsbook was so freaking true that it's sick. When you said that the buffett was under the TVs, I figure it was maybe a split level and just something you could notice in the background, not DIRECTLY UNDER THE FVCKING TVS!. And the scrolling odds on the TVs instead of a normal oddsboard so sometimes it takes 5 minutes just to find the current number on a single game... ugh. This place has so much potential, and yet it just sucks.

Thanks. "Reviews" are very subjective and not everyone will agree with my ideas of what constitutes a great sportsbook. Nevertheless, I do strongly believe that the Hilton is the most over-rated sportsbook in town. I'll add mone more thing on the Hilton:

A few months ago, I went to the Hilton to bet NFL because they had a promotion on 5-cent lines on Thursday night from 8-9 pm (I recall theat was the time, but it was for just an hour). I got in line at about 8:40 and there were maybe ten people in front of me. Needless to say, I got to the window right at 9 pm and was promptly SHUT OUT by the teller. I protested saying that I had been in line for twenty minutes and that they should cut off the line wherever they plan to stop the promotion. It was sort of like being in line at the supermarket and then the casher suddenly puts up a CLOSED sign when you put your things on the counter. I was furious and demanded to talk to a supervisor. They couldn't care less. Total pr*cks.

So whatever grade I gave to the Hilton in that review, lower it another grade. Customer Service -- F minus.
