i love it.

ugly numbers, but anyone who can go 7 innings and give up 3 runs at Coors field is worth a shot for an under play.

Bet the farm, but only if you have multiple farms.....

This is the sort of play that may not be on people's radar screens, but it (hopefully) gets the cash.

Nice work, everybody.

I was getting ready to post a late update, but noted that the favorable weather has previously been posted (wind blowing in). I also see the umpire for this game has gone under 60 percent of the games.

There's nothing scientific about this, but I have a feeling Milicki will pitch a decent game here, for his new team. A change of scenery usually is a positive development. Furthermore, Oswalt may get some work tonight in relief, as IE noted.

10 should be the max on this total, and even that's too high. At 10.5 the UNDER looks strong.

also, about rippley the home plate ump tonight - he is one of the umps who appears to have adjusted to accomodate the "new" strike zone this year. 2.51 so/walk ratio and run average of 8.44 rpg, 1.72 rpg less than last year.

sorry, obviously meant to refer to danley as home plate ump. ripley is behind the plate in sf, next game down on the rotation on my sheet and danley's profile strikingly similiar - 8.44 rpg, 2.41 lower than last year with so/w ratio of 2.36

wind is either in from left or left to right, depending on what site you check. but it probably won't be much of a factor anyway as it has been steadily decreasing and may be calm by game time.

i've seen several 11's popping up.

i used to have a nice chart that gave the value of a ? run at different totals, but i can't find it. does anyone know the approximate value of ? run from the number 11 is? i have the choice of Under 11 -115, or under 10? +115. i don't think that there is any way that a half run is worth 30 cents at the 11 level, but can't recall for sure.
