Noley finally gets to visit San Antonio with the wifey! I'll be there April 4-8 and then head over to El Paso to bowl April 8-10.

Just went on-line and the Spurs play Golden State Easter night, April 5th, and I have to admit, my peenie went boing! I can't believe they're at home against Golden State!

Stub Hub prices seem fair. Is that my best option? Anybody here at MJ's in SAT area? I don't recall anyone?

Made reservations at the Grand Hyatt San Antonio right there at the Riverwalk. Looks like that's a good call from what I'm reading.

If anyone would like to give me their .02 about San Antonio please don't hesitate. I want this to be a perfect trip for my sweetie......oh Hell, me too!

So stoked about the b-ball game already!

Thanks for those that assist(see what I did there....assist).

I've stayed at that hotel a few times over the years and SA can be a fun town. Most of my trips there have been with the guys, and never with my wife though, so the entertainment venues are very different.

At the Grand Hyatt, you're right there on the riverwalk. Nice location. You can stroll up and down the riverwalk and just listen to the various bands play at all the different bars and restaurants.
Lots of good dining options to try out.

If you haven't ever been to the Alamo and plan on going, it's sort of underwhelming.

Fun part about SA - you can go from nice area to the ghetto in about 10 steps. One year I visited there, on the map the hotel was just under 3/4 of a mile from the hyatt... which is a nicer area. However, there were chickens running around the parking lot at my hotel and 2 police officers camped out at the front lobby each night at 7pm.
