This is unreal, the first event open to the public started yesterday and sold out at 2200 players!! Not only that but all 105 alternates got a seat as well :scared

I don't see how they wrap this up in the time frame alloted.

First place for the first $1500 event is gonna be over 700K! Notice when Nollan refers to having the event in a sports arena in the near future, I think that is definatly where we are heading.

I know this event was supposed to be a one day event according to the original schedule. Lots of events are gonna have to overlap or go REALLY late.

Just got back from 3 days at the Rio --- most events are following the schedule....the first day was a zoo (like 2400 entries and 200 alternates or something like that)....they'll have everything ironed out by the main event....things were already moving much quicker.

The venue is amazing, you walk in and WOW, picture a football field full of poker tables, lights over each table and the constant echo of chips....really an awesome experience....if you're into 'stargazing' it's a who's who of the pros.....very good money to be made in the cash games....

Not sure where they are going to get all the dealers for the main event.....heard they are looking at over 8,000 entries....will be fun to watch...
