I hate the yankees, but to me nomar can't carry Jeters bags.
Jeter is clutch and a winner. Nomar should not be metioned in the same breath as him ever again.

In my opinion, Jeter has been surrounded by much better athlete's through his career vs. Nomar's. I think they are both great player's and would love to have either on my team if I were an owner. I will say Jeter has been clutch in big game's and that seem's to set him apart, but time will tell if Nomar can make the spectacular play's when the BIG spotlight is shining. Tomorrow's game 7 will give both the opportunity.

I'll take A-Rod. Put either one of the other 2 on the Texas Rangers and see what kind of numbers they post. To me Jeter playing for the Yankees is like being born with a silver spoon in your mouth.

boilermaker:

i second that -- arod clearly superior to both of them. jeter clearly one of the more clutch players of the last half-decade in the playoffs, so cant take that away from him. but im with you- rodriguez is better than both.

Jeter

Jeter

I will still take Jeter, he is clutch and a proven winner, what has A-Rod won besides a big contract and a lot of hype!

arod has won as many rings as nomar.
if the criteria is simply rings, then jeter obviously has no peer.
if its in terms of best player, hard to rank nomar or jeter anywhere near arod. rodriguez head and shoulders above both
