I really feel bad for the normal conservatives out there, and by normal I mean the good people who are fiscally conservative and may have different moral beliefs than I do, but they don't fall for all the CRAZY shit that Raymond, Skull, and Hedgie spew on here, such as ...

Obama is an N bomb
Obama is a Muslim
Obama wasnt born here
Birther Shit, which I thought was the craziest,
Obama killed the media guy, cause he had damning evidence, this now takes the cake.

Yeah I never mind some conservative views. I am more liberal than conservative that is for sure. For me its about religion, NRA (I own guns) and maybe a general disliking for the south and guys like Limbaugh and Savage..

What Rush said this week is fireable for sure. Don Imus was fired for about the same. It's words like that coming out of his mouth that makes my blood boil. Rush will never get fired for that cause he is such an icon to the neo dumb.

Do you think she is begging for herself or for others? She brought up several scenarios of other women. I agree that people should buy their own contraception but some people can't afford it and guess what, they are going to have sex.

If my choices are

1. People having unprotected sex because government won't pay or

2. People have protected sex cause the government will pay

I will choose number 2, we will be paying for some of them later by paying for hospital bills and wellfair down the road.

The Conservative view of promoting abstinence is noble yet stupid. It's not going to happen. People are going to have sex and I would rather have them protected.

What Rush said about Mrs. Fluke is absurd and trust me this is going to cost his party some women vote. What a dummy :facepalm:

Can't any of you neocons admit that what Rush said was very dumb and ignorant? :shrug: Hedgie is still hiding from this topic, yet posting all over the site.

Government shouldn't pay for birth control for anyone, if ins co doesnt want to cover it, it's the responsibility of the insured to pay for it, if your fucking many men use a condom and stfu

Here's the thing. If Rachel Maddow said something along these lines about a Conservative point of view, she would be attacked, called names, and her point would be the last thing they would worry about by the very people supporting Rush in this case.

Rush should absolutely be fired for saying what he said. Especially from a corporation that supposedly espouses and stands for moral values :)mj07: ). But he won't be fired, because he makes this hypocritical corporation a ton of money.

Sorry, you can't say just anything you want on public airwaves with no repercussions. I guarantee you I would not defend any commentator who said that, and to defend Rush in this case just shows your ignorance. It's not the issue he's referring to, it's what he said. Hiding behind YOUR opinion of the issue doesn't change that.

The south has plenty more to offer than uptight northerners would care to know. We are good people, just as good as you or your neighbors, if not better. I would challenge my resume of public charitable pursuits and service and against anyone. I also know that southerners compromised 90% of the donations from MJers to my charitable efforts with St Baldricks last year. That says alot to me.

The southern streotypes some of you perpetuate are as pathetic as black men/watermelon BS that Ray spews. We are one country. I'm no fan of upity northerners per se, but I tolerate them and never belittle them on that basis alone. I have no issues with you as a man, but I do take issue with your negative attitude towards southerners.
