The Money Goes Down On---

The Money Goes Down On---

To win outright--
Harrington 25-1 SIA

Pod wins at roughly a 20 to 1 clip. These are good odds for a guy who wins this often. No Tiger in the field, Mick is not playing like the 2nd best in the world, Singh shot his wad last week, Els not here, Rose rusty, so on , and so on. Will Pod win? Probably not. Is it a good bet? Yes, definately.

72 hole match
Perez over Elkington -111

Pat did well last week. Played this course well last year, is young, game is on the upswing. Elk tanked last week, he's tired, he's old, he got cut here last year. What else do I need to know? Nothing. Perez wins, probably on Friday.

What's all the fascination with Mike Weir? He looks to me a straight up journeyman. Over priced week after week. No thanks. There's plenty of other guys to bet on.

Rose, is back in the USA. I think that is the name of a song. The Beatles, I can't remember. No. Back in the USSR. F it. I love this player. I've lost more money on Rose than any other guy, easy. He's never won in the US. He will. And he will a lot, someday.

Davis Love surprised me. He did well last week, very well for a guy from my perminent fade list. I've made a ton fading Love the last few years. One tournament really doesn't mean squat. But he may be better than I think in '08. New found desire and all.

GLTA. Back later with the 18ers, after they poist them.

Round 1 plays (1pt)

Jeff Quinney to beat Paul Casey -110 @ Five Dimes
A missed cut in both starts this year and a missed cut in his only previous start in this event; that form should not be enough for Casey to beat Quinney who was a top-10 finisher last year and has improved each week this year

Anthony Kim to beat Andres Romero -133 @ Unibet
Kim also finished in the top-10 last year and has played far better this year than Romero who has missed both cuts on the PGA Tour and is making his course debut

K.J. Choi to beat Steve Stricker -115 @ Five Dimes
On any other course this may be a close content over 72 holes, but Choi leads Stricker 13-5-2 head-to-head over the past 12 months and has a very good record round this course; Stricker has struggled on it and even avoided coming here since 2004

Aaron Baddeley to beat Retief Goosen -120 @ Pinnacle
Baddeley beat Goosen by seven shots in last year's tournament and has shot 72 or better in each 1st round this year; Goosen is making his season debut after pulling out of the Qatar Masters three weeks ago with blurred vision

Charles Howell to beat Luke Donald -107 @ Pinnacle
I'll back the defending champion who has also been a runner-up on this course and started the season in good form against a player whose game has continued its long-term decline ... average 'adjusted' score - 2006: 68.95; 2007: 69.84; 2008: 70.54

Hey Fellas.. I was on the suspended list thus I couldn't comment or add any plays last week.. or to begin this week. I had to do all kind of favors (monica lewinsky style) to the powers above to let me back..
I know I have a lot of fans here, and I respect all the hard work and the talents of the golf community..
I do have a lot plays this week some have already gone off so I cant post them. But a couple have late tee times, so I will post those.

Couples -120 over Chopra
Sutherland -135 over Romero
