UConn hasn't beaten a Top 5 ranked team in over 5 years and in the last 18 games against top ranked teams Villanova has won just five. So what happens when a team that finished the second half against the Hall shooting a blistering 58% takes on a team that shot just a little over 35% in their last outing...My money's on the Huskies who have won 7 of the last 8 meetings. And this one is at the Philadelphia Wachovia Center instead of the homecourt of the Cats.
Davidson just beat the Citadel by 36 points last month. Usually a team with this much of an advantage has a lapse and plays no where near their potential. But they're such an overwhelming :scared superior team that I'll take my chances giving the 16.
The turmoil in Oklahoma has me backing the J-Hawks. I liked the Cowboys in this matchup but the controversy and stories of the team giving up have me laying the two and a half on Kansas.
