been one of the worst 2h teams in the nfl this year. remember seeing a stat in the detroit/seattle game 2 weeks ago that seahawks have the 29th rated 2h offense in the nfl. that stat was going into the detroit 2h. lions/seahawks was a 0-0 2h but lions had it inside the seattle 10yd line 2 or 3 times and couldnt get in. seattle never threatened to score. then last week seattle folded vs baltimore. just a heads up. wish clowns were getting a 1/2 point or at least even juice. 2h line reflects seattle's 2h ineptitude imo. holmgren gets amazingly conservative in the 2h this year

you`re from ohio....were you aware that the brownies had packed it in?.....this is a disgraceful effort from the team and the coach...davis doesn`t even have a clue as to when it`s appropriate to throw the replay flag....he actually looks confused on the sidelines.....

for starters:
1) there is a huge division within this team between players drafted during the chris palmer era and the players drafted during the butch davis era. weve discussed the kevin johnson situation. he was a palmer guy and was never on the same page as davis, even in the early days of the davis regime. davis never really showed sustained confidence in tim couch, and has since replaced him with holcomb. another solid vet (daylon mccutcheon) has publicly wondered if he'll be back next year (he was drafted in 1999). this is a huge issue and probably the biggest and most divisive issue on the team. lots of whispers that a large contingent of browns do not enjoy playing for davis. i know a lot of stuff gets blown up in media, but this is pretty legit.
2) i dont care what people say about browns having two serviceable quarterbacks. fact of the matter is they have two mediocre qbs. both stink. and i was a huge couch fan. loved him at kentucky and was thrilled when browns picked him 1st overall. but he is terrible. pains me to say it but hes bad. holcomb is worse. his mobility is atrocious and he is not a leader. his playoff dissection of the steelers last yr was an anomaly
3) browns have completed BOMBED on 1st round draft picks since coming back. this is a HUGE problem. browns drafted in the top 3 for the first 3 years and have had high 1st round picks all 5 years. heres their list:
1999 tim couch
2000 courtney brown (FINALLY starting to play well, but still has grossly underachieved)
2001 gerard warren (total bust)
2002 william green (lots of promise, but off field issues an obvious concern)
2003 jeff faine (good, but injury prone so far, and drafting a center when you have holes elsewhere is questionable)
bottom line:
5 high picks. nobody even remotely close to a pro bowl player
