Louisville's #5 ranking counted last year for the Big East.

WVU has an excellent shot @ top 10 this year.

So, BE in excellent shape. The ACC had nobody in top 10 last year..ironically, they have more to worry about :)

The BCS will go away before that bid is taken away. No way the BCS could survive if it becomes more exclusive. The member schools will vote it out.

Thats BIG EAST.......
Especially now that hoops is just around the corner...
No problem with W Va, or Rutgers......
Both very respectable programs and will represent the BE well wherever they end up...Life goes on after the raid....but the BE will survive AND prosper.

WVU playing in the BCS...get used to it.

Those opposed...Blow me.

Pitt played in the BCS last year, proved it did not belong, and we all know the story this year. Big East is a joke. Playing in the BCS as a representative from that conference is nothing more than an invitiation to get embarassed in front of a national audience on Jan. 1st or 2nd. Congrats, you should be proud.

ND has been leeching off the Big East for a while now.

As far as I can remember...people have loved to bash the BE...even when Miami, VT and The French were still involved with the conference.

Guess what..now that the BE was raped by a buch of scumbag greedy schools...they still survive. Give it a couple of years and they will be back.

they OUTPLAYED the best team in the country and everybody saw it on national tv. So to recap, they outplayed one of the best college football teams EVER

:mj03:

USC 446 total yards offense
ND 417 total yards offense

USC 301 yards passing
ND 264 yards passing

USC 8.6 yards per pass
ND 6.9 yards per pass

USC 175 yards rushing
ND 153 yards rushing

USC 5.6 yards per rush
ND 2.9 yards per rush

USC = 2 turnovers
ND = 2 turnovers

ND TOP 38 min. 40 sec.
USC TOP 21 min. 20 sec.

*USC 5 dropped passes and refs blowing 2 penalty calls on ND punt return. Don't forget the PF refs called on USC after USC stopped ND on 3rd down on ND 12 yard line. BS!

I would say both teams played on par. Don't forget the game was @ND! As a result, it was a close game. But you easily could argue USC played sloppy and bad calls from refs made it a close game!
