I agree that both of these guys are good players but it is not a good sign when your cornerback (Wooden) has more tackles in 11 starts than does your safety (Zbilowski) in 23 starts.DIRTY Diapers said:Ambrose Wooden (CB) is considered by many pro scouts to be in the top 10 corners in the nation.
Zbikowski (FS) is a tremondous athlete who will be playing on Sundays.

Top 100 players...

Brady Quinn was 58th in passing efficiency in 2004....behind Matt Lovecchio. He was DEFINITELY not top 100 players overall going into last season.
Zbikowski's 2004 stats - 38 tackles. 0 sacks. 1 PBU and 2 FF. Not a top 100 player. He was only a sophomore.
Abiarmari? 6 TFL and 2 sacks. Nope.
McKnight - 610 yards and 3 TD's...Not him either. Not even close.
None of those guys are top 100 players going into last season. It's really not even close.

DIRTY Diapers said:The article was on the top 100 players, not neccesarrily what they have done in their career...
All of those players will be drafted in the NFL, 1/3 of the players on that list won't... Sorry.
Marra said:No, it wasn't who would be picked in the first 3 round of the NFL draft...that is completely different. Jeremy Bloom got drafted and hadn't played a NCAA down in over 2 years...does that make him eligible for the list?
The NFL draft is about projectibility and POTENTIAL , which explains why Elvis Dumervil from Louisville who I believe led the NCAA in sacks last year...went in the 3rd or 4th round. I would definitely call him a top 100 player going into the season...not Zbikowski, yee of the 1 PBU.
Would Danny Wuerffel or Ken Dorsey be on your list for top 100? I mean he was awful in the NFL, but this is COLLEGE not the Pro's...big difference.
