SYRACUSE +2.5 - While Notre Dame deserves some credit for winning 3 games in a row after a 2-6 start, much of that has to do with scheduling. After losing to some heavyweights like USC and Florida State earlier in the year, the Irish have taken advantage of a soft stretch in their schedule, knocking off Navy (by just 3 points), BYU (at home), and Stanford (also struggling). I do not think this qualifies them to be a road favorite at a difficult environment for visiting teams like Syracuse. Yes, the Orangemen are just 5-6 overall, and they are coming off of an upset loss at Rutgers. However, Syracuse has been like night and day home and away, as they are 4-2 S/U and ATS in this building, winning by an average of 13.2 points. It is also worth noting that the Orange is 8-3 S/U at home vs. non-conference opponents since the 2000 season, going a sparkling 7-3, 70.0% ATS in those games.

I played the Orange+2 on Tuesday at reduced juice because the ND side looked waaay too inviting after their big rout of Stanford.Reading all the public response here to NDs big win last week(which I was all over by the way) was disappointing to say the least. You me and Lem Banker are the only ones here on the 'Cuse.I like the company.GL either way
