I'll be the first to admit I was wrong about this Nova team. They've looked like crap in 3 straight games. Not only did they play poorly, but they looked like they didn't even want to be out there most of the game. If UCONN beats UW and faces these guys it could get ugly.

Too bad for BC they weren't playing UW... Justin Dentmon would have fouled the guy shooting the 3 to give him three free throws...

nova looked very good against arizona......if they play that way they can beat anybody

today was an ugly win, but it seemed like they played right into bc game plan

They looked good offensively, but not defensively. I'm not taking anything away from AZ, but I don't think Nova looked good on both sides of the ball in that game. I know they beat UCONN earlier in the year but they played one of their best games of the year and UCONN looked awful in that game.

guys if you ever coach, play a 2-3 zone on baseline inbounds, and regardless if you play M2M or zone there, DO NOT PUT A MAN ON THE BALL.... amazes me how many coaches opt to guard inbounder in BL inbounds plays, defender should zone up or cheat toward hoop ...

didnt really care who won and enjoyed watching game :)

This was Nova's survival game-- this is their year.

I would like that to be true more than anyone. I have them winning the whole thing. And I know what you're saying... this could be a wake-up call. However, this team just isn't very good when they're not hitting their shots. Very reminiscent of West Virginia that way. They also gave up a lot of offensive rebounds. UCONN should hammer them on the boards.

I know they have. And I know that Nova has beaten them, which is part of the reason why I picked them to win the whole thing. I was just saying that the one time they beat UCONN they played about as well as they can play and UCONN played poorly. I hope they can knock them off again, if UCONN wins tonight, but I'm not holding my breath.
