Richard had to go, it was time. Best character on the show, hands down. Very nicely done showing his face being whole. I also think the lighting/cinematography was spot on- once they panned to the house with his wife/Tommy, etc, it had a strange orange glow- I knew right there it was in death.

I like that they are steering the show towards Chicago, and up till now those events are following history to a T.

I didn't realize the reason Margaret has been shown so little is because she's pregnant (the actor, in real life). I expect her character to show up more next year.

I think they did a disservice by not offing Eli. It should have been him and not Jimmy at the end of season 2. They should have taken care of it this time around. It's inevitable.

Chalky- probably the 2nd best character. Hate to see that with his daughter. Of course Harrow could have taken Narcisse out walking down the boardwalk but that's not as fun.

Overall I feel the 2nd half of this season was maybe the best, consistent run of good episodes. The finale and the previous episode were really, really good.

I disagree, he deserved a better fate, he should not have been killed off. If the writers wanted him off the show, they did not have to kill him off. They could have let him live with his new family in Wisconsin and be done with it.

Poor Richard:cry:
