Fawking Bettman and the NHL is killing me. There're still 5 teams left in the playoffs and we need to wait 48 hrs to watch (or bet:D ) another game??:thefinger

Anyways, with some time to kill, I thought we could start a poll and see where the MJ'ers stand on this game. Everyone's welcome, the more the merrier, and feel free to put in your thoughts.

Good luck!!!!!!:D

groovey, hmmmm, hockey playoffs......may baseball......hockey playoffs......may baseball......I think it's a no contest:thefinger

seriously, though, I've been lazy with capping baseball, with the pucks playoffs going into high gear, so I have been piggybacking Jack for the last week or so, and made over 2 dimes just playing his picks verbatim. Go check him out. Jack, if you're reading this, THANKS:D

FWIW, I think the Nucks close it out tomorrow nite:shrug:

this series should be over- 2 last minute goals to tie and overtime losses- minny has pretty muc controlled this series- but the wins is what counts. i think minny plays full throttle again at home and dominates in a 4-2 win. just a lay mans opinion.

Totally agree with THUNDER's assessment that this series could be over....with Minny moving on. If it weren't for the late goal heroics in Games 1 and 4, this series could be done. It should be 3-2 Minny. I like Minny tomorrow night, but I expect the Canucks to come out hard as well. Might just sit back and watch it.

eerily similar scenario to the aves series...down three -one...win a game and comeing back home....a very interesting note...this is the first game in the playoffs the WILD has been favored...that may tell you something right there...the only problem is that as a fave thier numbers this year are not good...

as i stated eralier in the playoffs the WILD have one advantage over all the other teams left in the playoffs..they can play two goalies interchangeably....one goalie gets hot he stays when he gets cold the other comes in...there really is no drop off in talent between the two and if there is it is soo minute because of the style of play the WILD have adopted...

with NO disresrect to the CANUCKS ..MINNY could very well be up 3-2 right now...they had two games in this series that they let get away in the final minutes...that being said some credit has to be given to the KNUCKS for playing with desperation when needed and able to come back from deficits...but if this was MINNY facing this same scenario all they would have to do is change goalies for the next game and start over...the CANUCKS need to rely on CLOUTIER he looked real real shaky in that second period...he may be on a down swing here and AULD is not a goalie we know much about or how he will react here....i would be very careful going against MINNY here...CLOUTIER is the key...if we think he comes back with a solid performance and was embarrassed then CANUCKS could be a nice play...if however he was mentally shaken up VANCOUVER could be in serious trouble

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, here's something to think about, even though this is from the regular season......

Vanc is 8-0-2 this yr in games following a LOSS of giving up 5 GOALS OR MORE. 5 of the games were ON THE ROAD, and 1 of the 5 was a "W" at Minny.
