Just getting up now almost like from a dream.
No way I am going to work for a few days, and maybe take this week off just to let things settle in.
What a game to watch. Cannot say enough about Eli Manning and the game plan for the Giants.
Tom Brady was distracted by his hurt ankle. I think he was overly concerned about it. Expecially when the Giants sacked him four times, hurried him 19 times, and scared the crap out of him. He even had happy feet which never happens to him. Factoring Brady's ankle injury into this play turned out well. It may have been the deciding factor in the win. I am glad I did not take it lightly.
Brady was not planting his feet well in the pocket and was not on top of his throws like he usually is.
The Giants blizted NE up the middle at times with both defensive backs and it got to Brady big time. The lack of a running game by Mahoney hurt NE also. They really stuffed the run as they did at Green Bay and at Dallas. NE needs another good quality runner in the backfield.
Moss seemed out of it and non chalent. I couldnt tell if he was sulking or just didnt give two chits.
Showing Brady on the bench alone told me alot also. Maybe Brady's superstardom is wearing thin with his offensive line players. I heard several of his offensive players yelling ... Watch Out Tom !
more than once .
A standout player for NE is Welker. That 5'9" 185 lb receiver is a go to son bitch. He will catch it anywhere and runs like a rabbit. I am not even sure where he came from, I think they got him in a trade. Who would be stupid enough to trade that guy ?
When Eli had to do it he did it, with his brother, father and the world watching. How many of us could say we could hold up under that kind of a spotlight. That catch by Tyree was truly a remarkable play. For him to bring that ball down on his helmet with 3 defenders around him. wow.
Burris touchdown with man to man coverage was a thing of beauty. I heard Eli talking after the game, that he was waiting for NE to all out blitz him. When they did he lofted it over the shorter mans head for the touchdown. wowser.
The patriots have the 7th overall pick in the NFL draft. They have some holes to fill especially on defense as old age sets in. I hope McFadden dont drop into their laps.
I have enjoyed this 2007-2008 NFL season. Alot of stress and pressure capping and posting week after week. I have a great respect for the people at madjacks that help others consistantly.
I honestly do not think I could do it if I didnt post the other bullshit stuff I do in my threads. Its a part of me. It allows me to use my imagination and hopefully entertain others , get a few laughs.
To the bashers and others that resent what I do, I can only say look at the numbers. Look at the dedication. Look at what it takes to produce winning plays, and then make your decision.
And with that I wish you all a fond farewell as I ride into the sunset.
I will meet you next time at 444 Glory Rd, it runs right off from
777 Victory Lane and that is where I lives.
