exactly Djv. Just like i said entertainment. That is what that whole rediculous cunning station is. They prey on idiots and sometimes its amusing to watch it. Not sure if they had anything about Barbaro the horse. I would think they didn't because they couldn't find some type of race card to use to stir up jackasses.

for the record,o`"reilly" creeps me out...his obsession with child molesters....and women selling latte`s in their underwear.....it`s a bit to strong and tends to make you wonder....
i watch the show sometimes..and agree with some of it.......but,the guy`s really not very well informed,imo.....he gives you the feeling that his staff does ALL the legwork(and they don`t do that great a job) and that he`s more concerned with mugs and factor gear(you know,o`reilly chaps,o`reilly testacle clamps,etc)....
he ususally brings up the rear with most important stories....
and a word to bill...don`t go on letterman or the other liberal clown shows...they make him look foolish...
i loved the way he rolled over on those border patrolmen that got ridiculously serious time for shooting that drug dealer in the ass.....after he resisted arrest......
and that body language segment?....puh-lease....

Smurph--I think he is one of biggest backer of troops--would be curious why you think other wise.
Bill O'Reilly is motivated by his own ego, his program's ratings and nothing else. His rants are rarely factual and frequently embarrassing to anyone with a shred of human decency.

he literally takes $1 out of the hands of the troops and their families by charging more than double what amazon charges for his book. If he loved America and freedom and cared for the troops, then he would send his viewers to Amazon for the 2 books, with $1 left over to be used at the discretion of the troops and their loved ones.
Now that you have this knowledge, can you continue to defend him?

Would you say your principles were more aligned with Ober than Oreilly.
Would you agree that Ober's primary mode to get the few viewers he does is riding on Oreiily's coat tails.
Would you say Ober Cnn Msnbc are fair and balanced?

DTB, you mistakenly assume that I am a fan of Obermann so I will refrain from defending him as you seem to want me to do. My comment was that O?Reilly is an egomaniac whose ?research? is frequently lacking in the factual department and the video that I linked is just one extreme example of this. I guess that I did not know that you would take my criticism of your hero so personally.
Fair enough Gregg--Would agree on your oreilly/ego thing as I also metioned previouslyWouldn't say he's my hero--but as far as that type of show --can't think of any that come close to having high profile guest with heated dicussions from both sides--rarily see only one side of arguement as in most those type of shows-whom all basically set their aspirations by his show.
