Neither of these pitchers has faired well against the other teams lineups. Abbott has an ERA of 7.36 on the season vs. Oakland and Lidle has an ERA of 10.39 against Seattle. Seattle is batting at .314 over their last 10 and Oakland at .289 over their last 10.

7 of the last 8 meetings between these teams has gone over.

How interested with the Mariners be, to even play this game? Still ridin' high after clinching the division, I'm not so sure this westcoast battle will even be that. I do think the A's will want to win, first game back home after disaster, and to stay sharp for wild card finish. Just my 2cents.

Sorry guys. I can't believe SEA only scored 1 run. I thought they would score at least 3 or 4 runs, although I didn't look for them to win. Cruisin, I think you are right. We can't predict SEA from here on out. Their biggest incentive is to stay healthy and "kill the clock" so to speak.

Can't believe after winning the Mets game I ended up with such a crappy night. Mets saved my butt although I still dropped a pretty good chunk for the day. Went 0-5 -1300 on parlays and that always makes for a bad day. I had a nickel on this total plus it cost me a three teamer w/PHI/STL. I would have had a winning night if it had covered.

Let's get them tomorrow.

God Bless America . . . and all the Mad Jackers!

I'm finding that, this past week or so, it's a bit tougher to get a handle on the games, especially with pitchers you think are automatic---where they use to be, they aren't now. Along with certain teams, like Seattle, that you could count on pretty much winning certain games. It will be interesting to see, if, Seattle wins on Saturday---in the 2nd game of this series, where they usually shine and have been $$$ in the bank. Teams are too unpredictable this time of year, let alone after what happened last week. Pulling back on baseball, and counting more on the gridiron till the playoffs. Good luck and Kill Da Man!
