If you want a dual threat QB, why the fuck would you rather have Terrell Pryor starting than Tim Tebow?

Cause Prior has an arm and is much faster than Tebow. Prior is going to need his legs cause he will run for his life.

Now the Packer and LSU fans can quit talking about how good Flynn is, he"s not a starter and there is a reason for that.

I would not say that, Ponder would start in Oakland, Flynn would not. Look at Ponder's stats last year, not as bad as everyone thinks. Although I think he is going to tank this year with a much much tougher schedule.

Ponder > Flynn

What is your evaluation of flynn based on? I think he is a servicable back up in the league, I don't know if he is a starter though.

I think the only thing we can all agree on is

Ponder = Dogshit

He was beat out by a rookie in Seattle last year and all indication is that he is going to be a backup in OAKLAND behind Prior.

There has to be something wrong with this guy. He looked good in his limited action in Green Bay but that was against schleps with the most prolific passing offense in football. He does nothing to make those around him better, he needs players to make him better. Yes we can agree that Ponder is crappy, although he did have an 18 TD - 12 TD interception ratio last year, but this year he faces much stiffer competition.

Agreed- although wilson is a pretty special talent even as a rookie.

The prior thing puzzles me in oakland

OAKLAND...:142smilie :142smilie

the few the proud..

wait til they move the franchise back to LA and then price that raunchy group of fans right out of the picture..

20 dollar beers and 100 thousand dollar seats..

already in the works..

only way LA mega money controllers let the franchise return.

Biggest red flag for me in regards to flynn?

Not the fact that russ wilson beat him out (turns out wilson is quite a talent, so no shame losing that job)

Not the fact that he lost the starting job pryor in oakland (although that is pretty sad at this point in both their careers)

Not the fact that he has been on 3 different teams in 3 years

BUT the fact that his old qb coach, joey P could've had him come to Miami for less the almost any decent QB in the league, and stil chose to pass on him when he at that time literally had no QB on his new team that he was trying to rebuild, did not have a great spot in the draft for getting one of the big named QB's, and just watched peyton, kolb, and every other decent starter go to different teams around the league via free agency... well that should have told every team exactly what they wanted to find out....a guy who aaron rodgers said is one of the greatest minds in football on the planet, and he literally wanted nothing to do with him even after he broke every record in greenbay's single game record book

What other coaches/organizations think of players is usually a better indicator of what a guy has, compared to what we the fans or the media has to say about a guy...

+/- 5.5 ... how is there any way the Raiders win 6 or more games? They should start selling Clowney jerseys in Oakland already.

Wouldn't they take a QB?

They have too many holes to fill & not enough resources to fill them. They need Clowney, Lee, Bridgewater, Barr, AND Matthews. I assume they trade they pick to get more assets. I'm just thankful I'm not a Raiders fan.
