This is the Obama tax cut calculater. I'm sure no one cares, but I love how there is no option for the self-employed. Wonder why

For some reason this type of misleading material is only considered a lie when the scumbags on the right do it. Scumbags on the left get a free pass. Can anyone explain why that is? Is it possible that the double standard is the result of Bush's failures?

FWIW, I realize I am in the minority, but I think outside of 1 huge mistake, GWB has not been nearly as bad of a prez as many like to think.

Leading us into this war, of course. Clearly, we would be better off today without having lost so many lives and spent so much $$$ in this occupation of Iraq.

Aside for this, GWB hasn't been great, but again, he hasn't been nearly as bad as portrayed by the closed-minded members of the left.

The calculater doesn't include an option for self employed because it would prove that that Obama is lying about not raising taxes on any american earning less than $250K.

By raising of the social security tax cap from $100K to $250K, he is raising marginal tax rate on the self-employed earning $150K by a minimum of
5.5%. Those earning $200K will see an 8% minimum increase.

If this were McCain, I'm thinking that many on here, including the reasonable types like yourself and Smurphy, would be all over it.

Everytime dtb posts that stuff about 33% of people paying no taxes with the support from the Tax Policy institute - they never include SS tax and most on here don't seem to have a problem with that.

I had assumed it includes ss tax. Will look at it again later, too busy right now trying desparately to log into ticketmaster for Phish tix in March!!!!
