Weazer:

Not sure of the ages of the lovely young Bristol and her beau, but if this "youthful indiscretion" involved a minor, then we might be talking about RAPE. Not sure what the laws are like in the hole you crawled out from, but in most jurisdictions this little ole felony ranks right up there with murder.

Further its rather odd that you call unprotected sex by the daughter of Mary of Nazareth (maybe not but nonetheless has a direct line to the lord) a "youthful indiscretion". Others have called drug use in there teens and twenty's "youthfull indiscretion".

I, myself, moi, have been guilty in your eyes of this "hi annus"(with my best district attorney voice from My Cousin Vinny) felony. However, I have never been guilty of the "youthful indiscretion", as you call it,by bringing a life into this world in my teen years when I was rather ill equipped to raise a child. (still am by the way)

However, as you and the rest of the psycho dots see the world, its a "youthful indiscretion" to knock someone up in your teen years, have the kid, leave it with ma and pa kettle while you go off to your next club hockey game to see if you can meet another 15 year old white skinned, kanuck and do the 3 second "oh my god" in the pick-up without an umbrella. I'd rather get stoned cause the next morning I don't hear anyone calling me daddy.

Lets see what yesterdays headlines brought us--

after gloating on cut of 17 billion they slip in fact they will be increasing budget 89 Billion today--what a savings
Lets see Gumby's guadruple last years deficit--where are our forums drunken sailor pundits of last year:shrug:

--and on defense--MORE cuts yeterday

Obama administration is proposing to cut the Defense Department's budget for recruiting by nearly $800 million, or 11 percent, for 2010.
The proposed budget would reverse years of increased spending aimed at bolstering military forces strained by six years of combat in Iraq and nearly eight in Afghanistan. From 2004 to 2008, annual funding for recruiting and retention programs more than doubled, from $3.4 billion to $7.7 billion

Can we get a couple more :142smilie from the Gumby Groupies ie--- "Da Base"

P.S. more good news for DA Base--same day he was cutting military funding he increaseing foreign aid to Kenya--

I know you just can't wait to tell us how much safer you feel :)

Hope-Change-yes we can---

Wayne-o:

As I indicated earlier, a cut is a cut is a cut. If the big O is eliminateing or reducing funding for 121 programs, no matter how jaded you are, you have to see that, and that fact alone, as a good thing. If the programs are wastefull (like teaching teens to abstain from sex because your domestic policy is guided by a ghost). Dont' worry I'll get to your spending increases in a second. But every journey begins with a first step. Hell the guy's been in office a little over 3 months and he already has investigated over 100 programs and found them wasteful. Credit where credit is due.

Now as far as increasing spending, first point is my favorite president George W. Bush spent money like a drunken sailor while decreasing the taxes of his friends in the lucky sperm club. Republican party has always been lower taxes. Which if fine and good as long as you don't spend like Rolltide in a McDonalds.

Obama's military budget cuts are no big surprise. Why do we need the spending on out moded weaponry for 20th century wars. Spend it on intelligence gathering to fight the wars of the 21st century. In addition, are we talking about the military or frankly, just another government program to hire high school dropouts from your neck of the woods so they have something to do during their teen years instead of knock up a vice presidential nominee's not so cute daughter? I'd rather put the money into rebuilding the infrastructure as opposed to giving some hick from Georgia something to do for 2 or 4 years on the taxpayers tit. I guess I'm from Athens and your from Sparta (not the ones in Georgia).

Spending, the way the big O is spending, will only take time to see if it works. I don't think throwing money at every situation is a good idea but, republican social program cuts certainly didn't work. Clintons workfare did. I know I am wasting muscle mass in my typing fingers as you will continue to find fault in everything and I mean everything Obama does.

Can't teach a bigot new tricks.

On the course!
Only Surge that truely worked was by the American people, surge on the polls and voted out the crooks and terroist out the White House.

If he sits in the White House, he's a crook.

I guess it just matters whether he's your crook, or the other guys.

Or any other seat of power! Wouldnt the world be nice if the ones in power/charge were honest. I tend to think for some reason or the other Ron Paul is the closest thing we have to an honest politician...but he could have his hand 30ft up my ass as well, some you see the crook and some hide it or change laws in order to not be considered a crook

"the other`s probably a felony"

gw, it is not eddy that misses the point here. It has nothing to do with legality. It has to do with hypocrisy.

Nobody here has any problem with what she did. (well, except for the christian abstinence groups.)

The crux of the matter, and why it matter's, is the hypocritic moral hypocrisy.

I for one am very upset and outraged that Bristol did not obey the baby Jesus. She got knocked up in sin, pure sin, and totally out of wedlock.

But the media is totally ignoring her sin.
That damn liberal secular media should be focusing more on this and the swine flu....or less..not really sure, but it is definately an outrage and a travesty.

no..it has to do with a criminal(who gets a pass from morans like you, haskell and the msm)......and a minor that made a mistake in her "uncooked" years....

of course you don`t see that...you think it`s cool for palin to be slurred by the media because one of her children made a mistake....but,biden`s daughter(a 27 year old cokehead) gets a pass..

do your toilets flush backwards,too?...

It does for me.

Reading this forum is all too telling about how divided our society is. Franky, it is embarrassing to me how some take these trivial matters so seriously yet only a small fraction of the populace (present company included) is willing to do nothing more than bitch about the circumstances that they so vehemently rail about on a message board.

If a citizen is not willing to attempt to make a difference, then please shut the fuck up because your opinion means nothing if your only recourse is to cry like a little bitch over ideologies. If you zealots feel this strongly about the issues then why are you limiting your disdain to this limited audience?

Long gone are the true American leaders who were willing to take a stand and participate in defining the American principles that I was raised to admire. I freely admit that I have abandoned any hope that our nation can ever return to the greatness that I was privileged to have experienced earlier in life. Not really a chance moving forward.

I agree with you Judge. As one of the little bitch zealots, I am ashamed that I do not do more to support my cause. However, this forum is a release for me and also reminds me of the divided nature of our not so civil society.

With all due respect, Weasel is an idiot. I would be bitchin just as loud about Biden's daughter if he had taken a position on drugs as Palin had on abstinence. If you can't see the hypocrisy, God help you.
