Of course the GOP is going to call him a big failure. They have nothing else to kling to. I'm not saying that Obama might not fail either, but the republicans are jumping the gun here. They need to immediately trash the Dems because their party has been failing for some time and they want to change public opinion. They need to cut down the DEMS because they have taken such a public beating the past few years and thats the truth.

There will always be a deficit whether we like it or not. How much can we endure ? I am not sure.

Well, that is why you voted for your party. You voted Dem to allow your party to spend freely and increase (DOUBLE) the deficit and then with your vote in 2012 you're also allowing your party to increase your taxes to pay the bill off that was made this year.

Like I said earlier - instant gratification - you want something done now and pay for it later. As I said in my earlier post - Reagan weathered the storm - THERE WERE NOT BAILOUTS. - Your party spends MY MONEY to TRY to shorten the current recession - because if they do not - they will not hold onto the power they took so long to get.

While Reagan let the ecomony COURSE CORRECT itself. It will fix itself on it's own. Supply and Demand. Too much Supply right now - it will take time to deplete all inventories where things will go back to normal at lower pricing scales.

While, I voted for canceling all these BS programs that allow our government to pay $50.00 for a screw nut that I could buy at the local hardware store for 50 cents. I voted for canceling the program that says HS Students should abstain from sex for $5 mill a year. I voted NOT to increase taxes in the upcoming years.

Find another way. We do it every day with creative accounting and cutting back. They can do it on a larger scale.

If I was in the hole for $30K and I ask my wife to spend another $30K to get out of the hole I'm already in...what do you think she'd say ??

Problem is - Big Daddy Government doesn't have a wife.

I won't go iinto details here but look it up... no matter what the tax rate is, our economy has grown for EVERY PRESIDENT SINCE, WHEN EVER.... I posted it here before........... we are down but not out.... this economy is a chance for the average guy to make it, if they make the right moves... America is selling at a discount ... guys like us have a chance...... We are going to see, more people turnig 1000's into millions over the next 5 to 10 yrs.... Not because of politicians but because of the American People.. The psychology of a presidency is important.... Reagan did it for America, Obama will do the same.

I like your post and I understand it.. It's not just my "party." I gladly voted for REPUBLICAN Thompson for Gov of my state a few years back and could have easily voted for a republican again. Just not that ticket.. I will take my chances with O. I am just not going to get bent out of shape after the first few months and I would not get overly optimistic either.. Its just too short of time to call him a "failure."
