garden, just saw this on evening news, honestly I don't see the big deal. Seems like a complement to me. You probably know much more about the Delaware Senator than me, but I recently saw him on MEET THE PRESS, and thought he was pretty well spoken. In this environment with the first woman and African American with a chance of being elected, and that statement is considered inflammatory, they better get thicker skin, and people better start paying attention to the real stories and problems.

Now last Time I checked it would be complementary to call anyone articulate, bright, Clean, or nice looking. But in today s environment who knows? People are just looking for something to complain about. I don't even see how anyone could find negativity in articulate, bright, or nice looking. And I believe by CLEAN, he is referring to politically clean.
But I challenge anyone who privately hasn't been impressed & thought the same things privately about the junior Senator. Now as to why he said it, maybe he should have head examined, but honestly people need to lighten the Hell up, relax. There is much bigger issues.

Biden is kind of going down the same path of personal favorability with me as McCain. I want to like them - I initially liked them very much - but they tend to talk themselves out of a sale over time. Comments like this are harmless, but also stupid - I don't care for the ultimate leader to be that stupid. It usually indicates lack of judgement in other more important areas as well.
