Pretty sure there isn't anyone in the country that didn't know those numbers were false. People voted the way they were going to vote regardless of the cooked jobs numbers.

There is a lot that can be said or researched on the way the government calculates their #'s now.

Unfortunately, most Americans do not care.

If inflation was calculated the same way today that it was when Carter was President, the inflation # would be 8-10%, not the 2% that the FED is claiming.

I can't say, however, that this is a new thing to the Obama administration and I am sure cooking the books by the government agencies has been going on for quite a while now.
