Killing Osama Bin Laden.

Healthcare reform.

I'll give you killing Osama Bin Laden

Healthcare reform has been a complete failure and my rates have gone through the roof because of him , that is no accomplishment in my book

That's the thing.....your rates should go through the roof. Single guy late 30s, drinker, heavy eater, sedentary, perpetual gambling losses, spends money on whores and strippers.

Respectively disagree with both of these.. As far as Osama I don't see how you can credit Obama.. The result of his death came from the tireless work of CIA agents that began years and years before he came into office.. If anything he hindered their progress by banning previous interrogation tactics.

The CIA found the compound all he did was give the go ahead.. I don't credit Bush either the job was done by the agents.

As far as healthcare reform don't waste anymore time reading articles telling you how amazingly well the ACA is going for the American people.. Take it from someone with boots on the ground.. So far it has been an unmitigated disaster.. from my point of view at least.

Costs are way up. I mean waaaaaay up. I have never seen anything like it. People are electing to not have surgery cause they cannot afford their premiums. Yesterday in fact my partner sent me a text about a surgery center in Ft Worth. We have 62 CPM machines in that center. Usually all are running except maybe a handful. His text indicated that they had to fill two patient rooms with all the unused CPM machines. Out of the 62 only 7 were being used. Nobody is having surgery!

These ACA plans don't cover shit. The DME business in particular is becoming a cash pay business. So the people that have money will simply pay cash for their products, the people that don't have money go without. So the very people Obama Care was designed to help are the ones getting screwed over...

Saw a young mother yesterday as a matter of fact on one of these shitty plans. She needed a functional knee brace to help her lug her kids up and down the stairs of her apartment after an ACL surgery. Sorry, your insurance wont cover a knee brace as of 4 months ago... I offered her a product at cost just a cash pay at $340 and she cant afford it... So she is going without.

I have a 100 examples of shit like this. Normally I would have given that mother a free brace.. Something I had laying around after 12 yrs of collecting old product.. But Ive already given it all away. Its gone. My huge stock pile lasted less than 6 months.

I was planning on waiting 6 months to give the ACA a fair shot then starting a thread with my findings.. But no need to wait till the end of the month. Without a doubt I can tell you that after 12 yrs in the medical industry I have never seen so many people have to go without.

And if you don't want to take my word for it. Find someone in the healthcare industry and ask them what they think of Obamacare??? They all hate it. Its made everyone's lives exceedingly more difficult.

Speaking of the ACA mess..

Saw an amputee patient the other day that needed an Unloader knee brace for his other leg.. This happens alot with BK patients.. They tend to put more weight on their good leg which over time causes their good knee to become arthritic... So he came into our office the other day with an rx for a brace.. We told him we would process the insurance and call him back in for a fitting when its approved.

Hes on a shitty govt health plan.. And of course his brace was declined. Fucking guy has one leg and he cant get his brace approved. So now I get to charge this poor dude a cash price for the brace or comp yet another product out of our own pocket.

me and hedge could send you the money

seems like there should be money set aside to help people .

Or maybe become a advocate, make some phone calls, get some people to donate for people in need,
call someone high up in the medical industry to state the case.

nawwwwwwwwww its easier for you to just whine and complain

Economy in freefall? 1Q revision shows shrinkage of 2.9%
Published June 25, 2014

The U.S. economy shrank at 2.9 percent annual rate in in the first quarter, a far more alarming downward pace than announced in two previous government estimates, according to the Commerce Department.

The figure is nearly three times lower than the preliminary estimate of 1 percent released last month, and marks the worst performance for a three-month period since 2009. A still earlier initial estimate, in April, predicted growth of .1 percent for the quarter. The sluggish economy's woes have been widely attributed to an unusually cold winter, but the latest figure - the biggest difference between second and third estimates since 1976 - could show the problems are bigger than that.

The Commerce Department said its final revision reflected a weaker-than-expected pace of healthcare spending, which caused a downgrading of the consumer spending estimate. Trade was also a bigger drag on the economy than previously thought, Reuters reported.

The economy grew at a 2.6 percent pace in the final three months of 2013, and some economists are optimistic that the poor performance in January, February and March was a mere blip. Data such as employment, manufacturing and services sectors point to a sharp acceleration in growth early in the second quarter. Macroeconomic Advisers recently forecast the economy will grow at a 3.6% annual rate in the April to June period, according to The Wall Street Journal.

However, the jarring final first quarter number could give many pause.

Economists have previously estimated severe weather slashed as much as 1.5 percentage points from GDP growth in the first quarter, but even taking that into account would still leave a precipitous drop in performance.

Consumer spending, which accounts for more than two-thirds of U.S. economic activity, increased at a 1.0 percent rate. It was previously reported to have advanced at a 3.1 percent pace. Exports declined at a 8.9 percent rate, instead of 6.0 percent pace, resulting in a trade deficit that sliced off 1.53 percentage points from GDP growth. Weak export growth has been tied to frigid temperatures during the winter.

Businesses accumulated $45.9 billion worth of inventories, a bit less than the $49.0 billion estimated last month. Inventories subtracted 1.70 percentage points from first-quarter growth, but should be a boost to second-quarter growth.

A measure of domestic demand that strips out exports and inventories expanded at a 0.3 percent rate, rather than a 1.6 percent rate.

Soooooooo this President and this administration forces a shitty healthcare system on its citizens.. Not themselves mind you.... Which offers shitty coverage and now a lot people cant afford products they need.. But instead of admitting this shit is a disaster and the President is not as perfect as you think he is its up to ME to "set aside money" you mean pay for it myself out of my pocket.. Advocate? Make phone calls? You are truly out of touch man..

But picture this.. And im not trying to be insulting.. Imagine that your family member had that accident NOW instead of a few years ago??
Imagine if your shitty govt insurance didn't get her the doctors and surgeries and equipment she needed... Would you still feel the same way about this Administration????

Like Duff who used capitalism to make himself wealthy and put a daughter through law school, he then turns around retired and blames capitalism for all of life's problems in between his trips to Europe. You are just as hypocritical.

You had an amazing health care system in place when a family member needed it (thank god) which you used to its full extent.. And now that you don't need it anymore.. Well its good enough for everyone else. And if someone does go without.. Its the greedy business owners fault.

All the while you sit back retired from your lawsuit passing judgment from the sidelines...

You think I have been turning away people in need? We had an entire stock room of unused product that we would use for people who didn't have money and it lasted ten years.. We have gone through almost all of it in 6 months! How many more freebies and comps can a company give away??

Now then as for your generous offer. The cost of the custom brace this fellow needs is 700 dollars. That is at cost. No commissions will be made.
Im sure he would appreciate the donation. Would you like to use paypal or send a check?:0008
