New for '03...
System #34 - Play on a home dog, if they lost SU as a road favorite last week (15-4-2, 78.9% since '98). **updated after week 10**
System #35 - Play on any team that has scored fewer than 30 pts in it's past three games.
System #36 - Play against any team that has scored more than 90 pts in it's past three games.
System #37 - Play on a road team that has a bye the following week (19-8-1, 70.4% since '02). **updated after week 9**

From Mr. Christo...
System #38 - Play on a moneyline home favorite coming off a bye when they are favored by 7 or more, and the total is 42? or more (11-0 SU, 100% since '98. 6-5 ATS). **updated**
System #39 - Play the Over when the home team is coming off a bye, is favored by 7 or more, and the total is 42? or more (10-1 Over, 90.9% since '98). **updated**

Still curious if anyone has a definitive record for #35 and #36.

Systems 1 thru 17

GM, here is what I get for those I can do. (And not including those I posted in the original thread)

[Seasons same as yours unless otherwise noted]

Sys#1 : 47-23-1 (67.1%)

Sys#5 : If both team have exactly 2 SU wins / 27-24-2 (52.9%)
BUT if you change it to 2 or more SU wins for both sides / 108-87-7 (55.4%).

Sys#6 : 12-9 (57.1%)

Sys#8 : Cant help

Sys #9 : 38-32 (54.3%) since '87 ( must've made hay from '83-'86)

Sys #10 : Can't help

Sys #11 : 27-14 (65.9%) We have a big disparity in the number of times this one has come up...interesting

Sys #12 : 55-47-7 (53.9%) since '87. (3-10 in 2001 & 2002...ouch!)

Sys #13 : 54-44-5 (55.1%) since '87

Sys #14 : Can't help

Sys #15 : Can't help

Sys #16 : since '87 184-164-5 (52.9%) (21-2 last year!!!)
since '87 with only the road favs / 93-69-2 (57.4%) (12-1 last year!)

Sys #17: Here I can only look at week 4 (can't do week 5 cuz of the bye weakness in program) But for week 4 since '87: 6-4 (60%)

Will add more later.

Again, much appreciated Ocelot. I'll go through these one by one after this weekend and correct/update the records, and comment on any discrepancies that come up. Right now I'm more focused on this weekend's games.

I'm really impressed you've developed your own database to search things like this. I guess the 'Bye' thing is your next project huh? ;) No urgency to this though as this is the last week that any systems refering to after a bye/before a bye come into play.

Also, if you have any other systems that you have uncovered, I'd be very interested in seeing them (if you are willing to share them), and adding them to my list.

Thanks,
G

GM,

I am pretty protective of my own systems cuz I think they lose effectiveness if they become widely known but here is one I'll put out there.

Play road dog with 1 consec loss (but not more than 1) by 20 points or more vs opponent with 3 or more consec SU losses.

This occurs rarely but is 15-5 since '87.

Okay, here is another:

Play home teams with 1 or more consec SU wins vs opponent with 3 or more consec ATS wins : 89-52 (63.1%) from '87 to '02 but is 0-3 this year for a total of 89-55.
