Y-T-D: 41-25-1 (+50.8 Units)

Have played some early lines this week.......lots of football on during the week, although I will admit none are too attractive, but those small Div1 schools need $ too!

I will be adding to this, but for now:

Northwestern +14' (3 units).(WIN)..........Sparty certainly capable of blowing doors off, but as Big 10 settles in, think NW will hang in this number.

Miami Florida -7
(3 units).(LOSS)............One Touchdown? Ok...I'll bite

Auburn -7 (3 units)..(WIN)................Tigers will have a renewed energy, and while I always fear a letdown, One TD isn't enough.

Duke +7' (3 units)..(WIN)..........Blue Devils are a little better than billing. Think they can win this one at home

V Tech +5 (3 units)..(WIN)..........Clemson revenge game, but how good is this team? Reminds a little of CAL/Oregon game, and think more than a field goal is reasonable for the visitor!

Nevada -3' (3 units)..(LOSS).............Go Wolfpack!

Purdue +7 (4 units)...LOSS.........offense should keep them in this one...............ML play probable!

Shall be back when I have secured all plays!

Good Luck!

Nice record and best of luck this week.

From what I've been watching of OSU (and their defense), I'm not sure if Purdue is going to be able to put up many (more than 17) points. Your thoughts?

OSU has a great D, but I saw some holes in the Minnesota game. This may be the best Purdue team I have seen in many years, and the big difference is the D. They seem to have lost interest against Notre Dame, but Buckeyes will have all their attention. Painter playing with a lot of confidence, and being home will help! I may play this on the ML as an outright win wouldn't surprise. I capped it at Bucks -2........so I will take the points and run.

Good luck!!!

ADD:

Memphis Team total OVER 16 (+100)..LOSER..1st Half Play..3 units

*Hadn't planned on playing anything but Marshall D is horrid. Death of teammate will fire lackluster TIger squad up. 16 isn't too much to ask!!

Good Luck!

Yup, sorry, first half...........that total smells........If I had to play it.....it would be over, but I'm curious how Memphis D plays tonight. Marshall run game abyssmal, which should help the over, but you never know. Not taking a stand on that one!

good luck amigo!

just curious to why you think ky/south car. will go under. ky has a great offense and a terrible defense. south car. has proven it can score and they have spurrier. i'm not gettin it?

Thanks for your reponse. Outside of the Notre Dame game I haven't watched Purdue. The best bet in this game might not be a side but the UNDER.

Painter has been playing great - his stats are impressive but I really see this defense getting to him IMO. I can't wait for the game. Best of luck!

I'm not convinced I won't be buying my bet back on this one. Your right about Kentucky Defense, but this isn't Spurrier of old. So. Carolina will establish ground game, and my hunch is the last thing Spurrier will want to do is get in a shootout. So. Carolina will be toughest D Wildcats have seen to date, and points won't be as easy to come by like Louisville, Fla Atlantic, even Arkansas. I expect Spurrier will want his D to make a statement here and blitz the hell out of Woodson. Typically, what I do in a game like this is bet the UNDER, then see what happens at halftime! If it Under, I have a great middle op. We shall see!

Good luck!

Re-Cap: 12-7 (+20.9 Units).....Nebraska Total still pending.

OVERALL: 53-32-1 (+71.7 Units)

*Nebraska/Mizzou Total Under 68' still pending

USC went down in flames, which I knew was coming, just didn't think it would happen in their house against Trees. Wish I had played the ML:shrug: Carroll has a bunch of Prima Dona's; should be interesting to see how they respond.....I will be betting against them next!

This is shaping up to be a wild finish in College Football this year. This may be more than the BCS can stand when all is said and done!....Of course we could have a Hawaii playing a So. Florida when the smoke clears:nono: :142smilie

Seriously, Teams like Ohio State and Arizona St.....are some happy campers at the moment. Love the parity in college football!

Good Luck for those on Hawaii tonight!

See ya tom.
