I re-upped at OLY earlier this month because I noticed that they'll be offering various props on hockey, and I think I found a few gems to make some money with. Jump on these if you like it, a couple of these props just look too easy to me......

NJ Under16 pts -115 x2
This is just too good to be true. NJ plays 9 games in October, which means if they lose just 1 game, I can't do worst than a PUSH. They play @ Bos tonite, and if they win, they'll play Bos at home again, but playing their 3rd in 4 nites vs a Bos team even hungrier to beat these guys. There're some games I can see them at least getting a tie in vs Tor, TB, Phi, and they play the Rangers twice. Not the most difficult strength of schedule, but I think asking the defending SC Champs to go undefeated in the 1st month with everyone gunning for them is asking a bit TOO MUCH! This line can't stay like this long. I really wanna HAMMER this, but the season's just starting. Gotta practice self-control;)

Panthers Over5 pts -115 x1
Scratching my head on this one. 2 wins and a tie, 1 win and 3 ties, and we at least push this bet. Fla plays a whopping 11 games this month, but only 1 game is in a 3/4 spot. Even that game is against the Thrashers who're having all sorts of problems with the Heatley and Snyder tragedy. And if you look closer, only 4 of those 11 games are at home. The big stigma on Fla last couple of yrs was that they SUCK at home, but play close to .500 on the road. I think we have another gem here.

Gotta run, I played a couple more, but I'll come back with some thoughts on them later on today......

Wild Under12 pts -115 x1
Sabres Over5.5 pts -115 x1

As always, good luck, everyone!!!!!!

ddubs,

I hammered it too about an hour ago, but i got a funny feeling it doesn't stand. A buddy of mine played Colorado last night Under 16. His play was in and then later on he received this e-mail:

Dear Customer,

Your wager/s taken on the Hockey Monthly Season Wins have been deleted due
to the following reason:

Incorrect line posted for Colorado over/under; line should have been 13.5
and not 16.5

Please be reminded that Olympic Sports retains the right to cancel/delete
any wagers taken on a line/ event found to be faulty (see
http://www.thegreek.com/rulebook.asp).

The correct line is now available for wagering. We apologize for any
inconvenience caused.

Bullshit...they wait until people hammer a side and then re-adjust the line!!! They have already taken down Vancouver and Detroit because everyone was on those unders and even though I have Jersey, i am expecting the same thing to occur and receive an e-mail similar to this one. If they don't know what the line should be, don;t put up any!!!

Anth......when I went back to up my wager, I realized that I maxed it out at to win 200. Must be because it's early in the season. I remember toward the end of the season last yr, I was dumping a nickle on each of these props.

SO......for record keeping purposes, NJ Under16 remains at x2, not x3:mad:

Spits......that's fawked up, man. I was wondering why they didn't have totals on Vanc and Det. I would have hammered Under16.5, also. I didn't check the props until this morning, but it sounds like they were up at least since yesterday. That gives them AMPLE time to move the line on NJ. It would be total BS for them to cancel our wager at this point. If they do, they'll have some very pissed off customers waiting to cash out.
