i dont think any team but s.a. is cagy enough to beat phoe. they can outscore the rest.

I agree with you, if they beat the Spurs I believe they win it all. Maybe an opportunity to take the Spurs in the series and the Suns to win it all and cash...?

phoe -150 or so

definitely some hedging chances. getting the optimal price is always the challenge. if phoe were to go down 0-1 or 1-2, probably get 3:1 to win it all.

I have Phoenix +1.75 to win it all and
Phoenix -1.35 to beat SA for the series..........

I know its a 7 game series but a little nervous now...........if SA shoots like they did today the rest of the series then the Suns and the rest of the teams in the tourney are toast.........


Should I be hedging somehow or just relax and let it play out a few mores games.......

Suns now +180 to win series after losing today. If Spurs play as good as they played today, they will take this series 4-1 or 4-2.

Hard to say who will win but at almost +200 I think the Suns are a GREAT bet. There were two things that stood out about today's game in my mind... 1) the Spurs did a nice job of hitting all their open shots, and 2) the Suns absolutely KILLED the Spurs with dribble penetration. Nash pretty much had his way the entire game and Barbosa had some nice drives as well. If the Spurs don't do something to limit the penetration I like the Suns chances.

Detroit is probably the only team left that can handle the Spurs due to a grind it out 81-78 type game every night, and someone has to win.

The Suns just don't play good enough defense to pose any threat to the Spurs or Detroit

now's the time to bet on Phoe at more than 3:1. detroit too, if you're inclined. figure they take the next game, they just had some shooting problems in game one, as i see it. they never really got flowing, but still were in the game the whole way.

lots of chances to hedge. all that really matters is that phoe take one game in SA, to get back the home edge. losing one game is no big deal.

if you have giant balls you could play for phoe to win game 2, then lose two in SA. then you could probably pick up phoe to win it all at at least 6 one, and all they have to do is win two at home and one on the road to beat SA.

worth thinking about.

or, if phoe wins g2, then loses g3, you'll be right back in the same situation as today, except you'll probably be able to get even better than 16/5, maybe 18 or 20/5, especially if SA dominates.

the only scary thing about betting phoe is they are NOTHING without nash. just a bunch of discombobulated janitors. it's not just his shot, he always sets up his guys to shoot in rhythm and with space.

you might be right, but i think the suns can win by outscoring everybody and just playing mediocre d. SA is smart, that's the danger they pose. Phoe seemed flat in g1, even though their shooting percentage was ok. they need to push it in transition, that's where their advantages really kick in - the crowd, the threes, the swoops to the hoop by that one dude.
